EBC exhibits its wide range of publications at the 20th World Book Fair

20th Biennial World Book Fair organised by National Book Trust from 25th February to 4th March, 2012 was held with great vigour at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi where amongst numerous publishing houses,EBC also exhibited its wide range of legal publications.

The occasion was truly an august one as EBC was celebrating its 70th Anniversary. Since its inception in 1942 it has earned recognition in national and international markets with customers from various law-related fields.

Showcasing its entire range of more than 1000 products from legal commentaries by eminent authors to law reports and journals and law digests, from textbooks for students and academicians to bare acts and biographies. EBC displayed print as well as electronic and web versions of its publications on six stalls from stall no.184 to 189. Every book was beautifully displayed and attracted many visitors. They were arranged categorically as commentaries, law reports, bare acts, students' books, etc. in the same way as they are exhibited in EBC showrooms.

Several new books were released by EBC at the venue. 4th Edition of B.R. Ghaiye's Law and Procedure of Departmental Enquiries
revised by Dr. J.K. Verma was the highlight of the EBC stalls amongst new releases. The book deals with all the aspects of departmental enquiries from the initial complaint to its final disposal.
Administrative Law by Justice C. K. Thakker, Handbook of Food Adulteration and Safety Laws written by Sumeet Malik, Basic Structure Constitutionalism by Dr. Sanjay S. Jain and Ms. Sathya Narayan, V.K. Vardhachari's Legal Fictions by Vepa P. Sarathi were also attractive amongst the new releases.Social Sciences Series for law students grabbed the special attention of the university and college going students. The series includes books on History, Sociology, Economics, International Relations & Organisation and Political Theory & Organisation. Coat Pocket Editions, including The Constitution of India added glamour to the stall due to the quality of its binding and ease of use as a handy source of reference in day-to-day work.The New Practical Lawyer with several new features was also introduced.
